We are currently hiring a talented individual to join our team. In this hybrid role you will provide essential support to our Field Service Coordinator, the team and the customers.

What you will do as a Field Service Technician:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on equipment.
  • Commissioning of equipment.
  • Participate in installation and commissioning teams for projects.
  • Train operational and maintenance staff responsible for the equipment.
  • Report work progress to the Area Supervisor.
  • Repair equipment and perform chemical cleaning of membranes at Fluence.
  • Receive and respond to service requests, claims, and technical inquiries.
  • Prepare technical reports for completed work, including cases of failures or proposals for improvements on existing equipment or processes.
  • Request and control operational parameter monitoring sheets for equipment.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of equipment, components, and their applications.
  • Act as the client liaison for technical aspects of previously sold equipment.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements.
  • Provide technical feedback for consideration in future improvements.
  • Offer feedback to the commercial team regarding supplies required by the client.
  • Prepare travel expense reports for service-related trips.
  • Maintain tools and work equipment.
  • Understand commissioning procedures for different equipment and their corresponding records.
  • Draft Service Notes.

  • Ability to respond effectively and flexibly to high-pressure and demanding work situations. Adaptable to change, with the capacity to handle new or challenging situations.

Who you are and What you Bring to the Table:

  • Residence in Mar del Plata
  • Education level: Chemical, Electromechanical, Electronic, or Mechanical Technician.
  • Languages: Technical English (desirable).
  • IT skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience: 2 years in a similar role.
  • Availability to travel: Required.
  • Driver's license required.
